The latest round of league matches brought thrilling surprises that reshaped the standings. This weekend saw six exciting games, each influencing the race for playoff positions.

Ghosttown Saints 2-0 Dynasty FC

In a pivotal match, the Ghosttown Saints clinched a 2-0 victory against Dynasty FC, rising impressively in the standings. Briceño was the shining star of the game, scoring both goals with precision and calmness.

This win not only enhances the Saints' confidence but also positions them as serious contenders for the playoffs. Their rivalry with Dynasty FC intensified the clash, and this match will be remembered as a significant moment in their campaign.

Rayados 4-1 Houston United

Rayados faced a determined Houston United but managed to secure a 4-1victory, reinforcing their hold on 3rd place. The match showcased Rayados’ exceptional defensive strategy, successfully neutralizing Houston’s attempts to score and demonstrating their tactical prowess.

Earning three points at this stage of the season is crucial. Every point matters as Rayados aim to solidify their playoff position and carry this momentum into upcoming games.

Houstonians FC 3-1 Longhorn FC

The Houstonians achieved a remarkable 3-1 victory over the Longhorns, marking the third consecutive loss for the Longhorns. Nelson Jr. was instrumental, leading the team towards a key win that will help in their push for Volt League survival.

MAFC 5-0 AC Juniors

In a stunning display, MAFC defeated AC Juniors with a commanding 5-0 scoreline, marking their first clean sheet of the season. This decisive victory propelled MAFC to the top of the league standings, demonstrating their offensive strength and solid defense.

This was a wake-up call for AC Juniors, who had previously gone undefeated. They will need to regroup quickly and address their weaknesses before facing their next opponent.

University of Houston 3-1 La Vinotinto Houston FC

The University of Houston were able to beat La Vinotinto by a score of 3-1. La Vinotinto's issue all year long has been their spacing in defense and the lack of organization. UH, on the other hand, are one of the most organized sides in the league and currently sit in 5th place, while La Vinotinto are languishing in the last spot of the league.

Little United 2-1 Fuego SL

Little United continued their fine run of form against a Fuego SL side that has dropped three straight games. Sitting just three points above the relegation zone, this loss against Little United has done little to get them out of this mess. Little United have instead found a way to compete with MAFC and AC Juniors as one of the newest clubs in the league. They could be the only ones to compete against the big two, although the difference between third place and 10th place being four points.
